So today the congregation was assigned to clean at 8am! We arrived and had some complications so didn't start till 9am! But wow so much work! Our congregation was not assigned to the Kingdom Hall this memorial but rather we rented out a location that's part of a gym. In this large room they have weights and other workout objects. So first remove all the items and wow that place was so dirty! So we had to sweep, dust, mop, wash walls and windows, the brothers brought out the hose! we had to scrub with soap and rinse with the hose, oh and then we had to wash and dry all chairs too! And it's a two story location!!!! So once chairs clean we had to take them up the stairs! Wow what a work out but man we loved every bit if it! Definitely when we clean our locations to prepare for memorial the cleaning isn't so extensive, so we definitely thought of the difference. Oh man and working in the sun was killer!!!! It took 4+ hours to clean it all! And then we find this huge spider!!!' Yikes!!!!! But Julio got it and took it to the yard haha but I was yelling the whole time! But again we loved every bit of it! To be helping and participating and getting to bond with all our brothers more!
So now that we are home we eat rest and get ready for Memorial which will start at 6:30! This event is special which we do every year, all around the world! How special it is to do it with other brothers in a different location. I hope everyone enjoys their Memorial!
