Today we had our family worship! Yes we are a new unit of family so we made these arrangements for every Wednesday to have our time for family worship! Edwin, an elder from our ASL hall, will be joining us and helping since he can help us adapt our ASL to the DR ASL they use here. Also he provides tips on how to preach here since we might use our iPhones or iPads to show videos to the deaf we need to be careful since we can easily set ourselves up for a dangerous situation with thieves! So we are all cautious!
Tonight we viewed the kingdom ministry to see the suggestions for keeping a short presentation for the Memorial invite. Each of us put it into practice to be prepared for our first service day tomorrow! We also viewed how to present the offer of the month the video about Jesus, how to offer it when we communicate with someone who is deaf and wants to learn or was very interested in knowing more about Jesus. We love our Dominican family!
